The search function isn't working for me and I need a recipe ASAP. My son wants a chocolate dinosaur cake. I want chocolate frosting but I can't do a search. I leave in less than an hour to get what I need. Does anyone have a really good one that they are willing to share?

Thanks!

when I need chococolate icing, I use the HErshey recipe on the side of the cocoa can. Tastes great, crusts well.

This is fabulously lucious chocolate buttercream that crusts so you can smooth it perfectly if you want to.

1 lb Butter, softened to room temp
4 squares Bakers unsweetened or semi-sweet chocolate
4 tbls light Karo
2 pounds Powdered sugar
2 to 4 tbls white or chocolate milk

In a large mixing bowl whip up 1 pound of butter until very light and fluffy.
Meanwhile, in your microwave melt 4 squares Bakers semi-sweet or unsweetened chocolate. When melted stir in 4 tablespoons light Karo syrup. Stir together well. Pour chocolate mixture into your whipped butter and mix well.
Add in 2 pounds of powdered sugar and mix until well incorporated.
Add 2 to 4 tablespoons white or chocolate milk 1 tablespoon at a time until you get the consistency you desire.
