I have heard that it is about the same as creme bouquet, wedding bouquet, etc. A marketing tool perhaps?
Hi,
I don't know how right this information is (or if it is what you were looking for) but maybe it'll help (I found it through a google search)!

Hope this helps!

This is a link to the site I found it on.

Yeah, I saw it on the ck products site. That's the wholesale part of Country Kitchens. Maybe I'll order some and play with it.
it has a citrus-vanilla taste to it. I use it quite a bit in my white or yellow cakes and in my NFSC's. I think it tastes good. If you use it in icing though, it doesn't take much. I have the buttery-sweet dough emulsion too and I don't really taste a huge difference between it and the Princess emulsion.
just my experience with it.
That is what I think the flavor of creme couquet is, vanilla with some nut and citrus undertones.
Princess tastes like a blend of lemon, vanilla and almond to me. It almost tastes like the filling in lemon sandwich cookies when you put it in buttercream, an interesting flavor but enough citrus to make my mom complain.
They've got it now at Hobby Lobby for $5.99 for a 4oz bottle. I like it a lot.
It's a lil pretentious with a alot of fluff at the beginning, but no depth of flavor.
Gotta say, I bought the Princess and the Buttery Sweet Dough, and to me they both taste and smell of chemicals. I never use them - want me to mail them to you?

Should be a big seller in the bridal market.
Like the OP I like it ok in the baked goods, but there is an unpleasant aftertaste in icing or other "raw" things.
i love the cream bouquet from ck but i don't care for the princess emulsion as it is very sweet and yes leaves a weird twang in my buttercream. i won't buy it again.
I think I'm gonna order some, but only for baking in a cake. Too many of you don't like it in bc.

I was gonna say something about the nutty/citrusy flavor and the bridal market, but I'll be good...
Anybody know what Princess Flavoring tastes like?
I heard that princesses take like chicken.
ROFL Mensch!
Is princess really like buttery sweet dough????
I bought some Buttery sweet dough from thebakerskitchen. com
It is bright orange and has a very fake Italian orange spice flavor-Shiver... Gag-cough. I'll NEVER EVER use it. Reminds me of Hot Cross Buns in a very bad spoiled way.
