I am in desperate search for a from-scratch, strawberry cupcake recipe. I have tried six now and still not getting the strawberry flavor and baking results I want. Does anyone have one they can share?

I've done one off of a mix before, but I really prefer to bake scratch. This one has eluded me and I got a request for them.

k for the 'Strawberry Cake From Scratch' recipe in the recipe section here. It's meant for a layer cake, but I bake it into cupcakes all the time.

That is the one I just tried. I am having issues with the cupcakes shrinking up and pulling away from wrappers. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Hmmm, I don't get that problem, but I find that original recipe far too sweet, so I reduce the sugar by 1/4c and I use pureed fresh strawberries in mine, not frozen sweetened ones - maybe that's the difference? Worth a try?

Thanks I will give that I try...what is one more batch to experiment with! LOL....just gotta get bigger pants.
