I need :
Balloon
Clown
Corn cob
Pretzel
Cotton candy
Popcorn bag
I don't want to pay 12.95 each !
And I'm a bit lazy too because I don't want to handcut them.. I'll a lot to do... Anyone could help me?
I got many of my cutters from:
foosecutters
thelittlefoxfactory
offthebeatenpath
americantraditionscookie cutters
I am the same way!! Cookie cutters for EVERYTHING!!!! LOL!!! It's the easy way out!! I normally find almost every cookie cutter I need at Hobby Lobby or Michaels....not sure if you have one in your area...hopefully you have Hobby Lobby cause thats gonna be the best place to look!!! Good luck!!
Karen's Cookies is a good place to check too:

If you use sprinkles, get a pair of Karen's blue tweezers. They are WAY better than the other tweezers I have used.
Also, at American Traditions, click on their calendar page. Then click the day marked "special" for a discount day.

I don't think your lazy! That would be A LOT of work.
I make templates using clip art then putting it underneath acetate and cutting out the shape. Then I hand cut cookies. Works great and you just wipe off the template for further use.
Golda's Kitchen in Mississauga has a great assortment of cookie cutters - for a lot less $ than 12.95 each. goldaskitchen.com
Yeah I know Golda's Kitchen.. I loooove it ! But I can't find what I want..
But, I've made my own cookie cutter for the corn cob with a kit from foosecookiecutter... So I'll maybe try for the others...
I love offthebeatenpath and foosecutters - especially for smaller cutters that aren't expensive.

Try this website mysweetandsaucy.com...on the top hit BAKING SOURCES and they have all these websites to find things...then on the right side you can click on ARCHIVES and they have cupcakes and all kinds of neat things...and if you click on CATEGORIES again on the right side they have more stuff. Is a pretty neat site.

Clown: https://cookiecutter.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1882
As for the other ones, I would say that for the popcorn box/bag, you could just use a rectangular shaped cutter and then cut it to the shape you want it. I'll keep looking and if I come across the other ones, I'll post again! HTH!
For the popcorn bag I agree with DLo912 just cut rectangles. You can even use a ruler and a sharp knife for this. Add any details such as the zig zag on the top of the "bag" with icing.
Can you round off the bottom of a heart cutter for the pretzle?
The clown cutter from Karen's can be used upside down for the cotton candy.
A circle for the balloon. Cut a small triangle of dough and piece it into the bottom of the circle (puzzle style) and bake together.
Hope this helps

Another company I like dealing with is Ecrandal. Very nice people and their cutters are excellent quality. http://stores.ecrandal.com/StoreFront.bok

They have very nice cutters... but that's not in my budget for now!

May I ask what tool you use to cut the cookies out with?

I'm getting ready for those cookies... I draw them on a sheet of paper and add a couple of notes... On paper they look great and in my mind too... I hope they will be as good as I visualise them !
So it will be :
Corn on a cob
Balloon
Pretzel
Popcorn bag
Thanks CC'ers!
I never heard of Hobby Lobby before, but lookie there, I'll be only a few miles from one in a couple of weeks. Guess what's on my list of stops!
I guess I'm funny, I don't mind paying a fair price for the products, but I HATE paying for shipping, especially when half the charge is handling and I know it doesn't cost that much to package (I ship things too, so I have a pretty good idea of what it ought to cost). I've had trouble finding what I want at Michaels, so I'll have to give this other place a stop!
I wonder if they have silver dragees too.....
amazon.com has tons of cookie cutters by lots of different companies and usually they're pretty inexpensive.
i currently have a love affair with the Old River Road sets on amazon. I made my husband buy all of them for me. lol

Oh!! I didn't know Old River Road had sets on Amazon. I have a few of their cutters and they're awesome!! Do you have a link or do I just do a search?

I'm going to have to revise my opinion of this company and unfortunately not for the better. I won't go into details but I no longer endorse them.
I get my cutters from Karenscookies.net. She gives great customer service and everything I have gotten from her comes in a $8 flat rate ship box. For the Clown I use the Large Ice Cream Cone cutter she has - just turned it upside down. She actually has a Balloon one - I love it! I agree about the Popcorn bag - just use a rectangle cutter - look at FancyFlowers.com When you sign up they even send you an email that will give you free shipping
