I made the frosting recipe from the back of the Hershey Cocoa Can and I love it! It's crusts enough to nicely decorate a cake and the taste is divine.

Is there a comparable recipe for a regular Vanilla BC? I like Indeb's recipe but I want something that is all butter and does not contain Crisco.

Thank you
Celine

You could take the recipe you're using for the chocolate and replace the cocoa powder with more powdered sugar... I would imagine it should make a similiar consistency white buttercream, then adjust the vanilla to your liking...

I agree - most similar vanilla recipes are really pretty much just butter, ps, vanilla and some milk to thin it to desired consistency.
