I haven't made them - but I remember someone talking about them not too long ago and they said they were really good!

I just made some last night for the first time and everyone seemed to like them. I haven't downloaded the picture yet though. Here was the recipe I used. (I did chocolate cupcakes)

Box dark chocolate fudge cake mix
1 pkg instant choc pudding
1c veg oil
1/2 warm water
1c sour cream (I used low fat)
4 eggs
1/2c mini choc chips (I didn't use them for the cupcakes, but have put them in when making a cake and it tastes great)

Oreo Buttercream
1C shortening
1C butter
2tsp vanilla
2lbs confect. sugar
Few tablespoons of milk
8-10 oreos (smashed up)
Cream the shortening and butter together. Add the vanilla and slowly add the sugar. Alternate adding the sugar with a few TBSP of milk at a time, don't let it get too thin. I folded in the oreos at the end. You don't want the oreo pieces too big or they'll get stuck in your tip when decorating, but too small and you kind of lose the flavor.

I used a 1M tip to swirl a rose design on the cupcakes (see previous posts here on how to). Then I topped with half an oreo. Good Luck!

That recipe sounds really good Persephone1079! I still need to give them a try.
