Your best bet would be a regular Cinderella barbie from the toy aisle (I've seen them at Walmart and Target). Just take off the dress and plastic wrap the legs before you stick them in the cake. Then the birthday girl will have a doll to enjoy when the cake is gone.

Yup..That's what I do..Make sure you add the cost of the doll onto the cake price.I usually have the Mom bring me a Barbie so the birthday girl can pick out the one she wants and the Mom can spend as little or as expensive as she wants.

that's what the lady did for my daughters cake when she was young, she did some beautiful cakes for me. i got there a little early and she was finishing up the cake, that's what i thought, at the time i was in awe, she just kept adding and adding when i thought that's beautiful she's add more. she cut out a piece of card board and made a hat with flowers, also a corsage on the doll's wrist. and at every where the cake looped up she added ribbon bows. they were called just doll cakes, and my daughter ended getting a barbie out of it. just put the hair in a pony tail
