Does any one have any opinions on commercial fridges and freezers made by Arctic Air and Frigidaire?

Ok I usually don't have an opinion on what products to buy but... I used to work for the frigidiare Company which is... was called electrolux out of Greenville, Michigan. Almost everyone in my family has worked for this company at one point in time even through several name changes. Making a refridgerator is not an easy job! But the owners thought that they needed to close the doors and move to Mexico!!! SEVERAL thousand people lost their jobs including me. Not to meant the even smaller company's in town that closed due to Electrolux was their main customer of their products including a wire company that my sister worked for.

We lost our house because we couldn't keep up with the payments after I lost my job. So we ended up taking a deal from the bank and moved 1 1/2 hours away. Greenville is a realitvely small town and there aren't many jobs and when you have 2,000+ people going after these jobs theres not much chance for anything that paid even close to what we were getting. My family has ALWAYS bought a frigidaire fridge because we were loyal to where we worked... NOW we won't go near one. I had 1 that was 2 weeks old and one that was a year old we gave them to goodwill (I wanted to take them to the shooting range and have some fun but the possiblity of them exploding was to real) So now before I buy anything new I try to look up the history of the plant that has made it... I will buy from someone who builds a product in the USA over a cheaper version from ANYWHERE else. Just my two cents here. Sorry to rent on the subject but it's something that has hit way to close to home.

That is sad!

Your snowman cake is sooo cute!

Answer the question... OK

We had two Artic Air less than 2 yrs old. They were worked on more times than the original price. BOTH of them! They are sold as commercial but are definitely not for heavy use. NOT RECOMMENDED!!
