i was just wondering about this, for those of you who have been in a magazine, was it something where you approached the magazine, or did they approach you?? I'm just really new at this, so I am curious.

thanks for the info.

Last month American Cake Decorating magazine called me for a phone interview on pricing wedding cakes. She said it should be in the next issue.

From what I read, the manuscript is a must read.
She interviewed other very talented shop owners.

You can send in your cakes to ACD and Mailbox news. They go to the same place and they choose whether to put them in or not and when. They usually keep them and use them when the theme comes up that they fit in.

For ACD and MBN magazines, you can view an entire list of requirements for sending in photographs on the website www.americancakedecorating.com. You can also PM me and I will give you all the information you need. icon_smile.gif
