Hey everyone! I'm looking for a recipe for a glaze, kind of like for donuts but I want it for cupcakes. I'm hoping the glaze would harden enough so that the cupcake won't be ruined even if i just stuck it inside a cello plastic bag and tied it.
My grandma passed away last week and I'm gonna make cupcakes for her funeral to give to people who are going, about 100 or so and i thought instead of running the risk of frosting melting and making a mess, a glaze would be sturdier and could hold up to the hot weather and humidity.
looking forward to hear from you guys. thanks!
just wanted to say that i'm also sorry for your loss, and sorry i can't help!
I came on here tonight in search of the same thing!
If i find something I'll post it here for you. I am going to be making some banana cupcakes, and the guy requested glaze instead of frosting.
i personally hate glazed donuts..and most things that include glaze...
but i'm on the lookout for you and for me!
hey cara! Thank you. I actually made Toba's Glace (do a search on the recipe section here, just type Toba) and my brother told me it tasted like krispy kreme's glace. so try it, just think it out cause it's a little thick for dipping
