All,
When using Americolor gels in buttercream for coloring, do they tend to stain your tongue and teeth when eaten?

I want to make some Mardi Gras cupcakes for work, but I don't want everyone walking around with purple and green tongues! Although, if I happen to have a camera with me, it could be fun!

Why not just airbrush the outside? Much less color to contend with. Or sprinkle with colored sugar or jimmies. I don't know of a brand that will give you a vibrant color with no mouth staining.
