does anyone know of an online seller of good and inexpensive Oreo cookie molds? I have bought them on eBay before, but the selection is slim right now. Specifically, I'm looking for someone who sells the hearts (not hard to find) AND one with spring flowers on it, etc...
I know about SpinningLeaf, which has an awesome selection, but I don't really want to spend $6 a mold!
Wilton has them online for $1.99. I bought mine at Joannes for the same price. They have both the hearts and the spring flowers.

I highly recommend spinning leaf! Yes, the molds are $6 but they are high quality and if you sell the oreos you will recoup your investment in no time.
Join up on the spinning leaf site for their newsletter and you will get a percentage off each mold. They also send you a free mold with every order (Their choice).
I have read on the thread about oreos (I'll try and put a link below) that the Wilton mold are terrible and barely cover a regular size oreo. The spinning leaf molds are deep and most of us who use them use double stuff oreos. They come out beautiful everytime!

Good luck! Hope this helps!
thanks, guys...the spinning leaf molds do look awesome...I may have to suck it up and order some!
I also recommend the Spinningleaf molds, they are very sturdy and the molds are deep enough to use the double stuff oreos...which are my favorites.
I like my Spinningleaf molds but my kids said the cookies were too sweet. I did use regular oreos and not the double stuffed so there was a lot of chocolate covering them. Maybe I'll try the double stuffed or I could always use less chocolate? What would I do for that? Push them and hold them down in the mold?

After I've put some chocolate in the mold and added the Oreo, it's pretty simple to push it down. Rattle to bring up the air bubbles, then maybe add just a tiny bit more chocolate to completely cover the cookie. The Oreo should stay down...give it a second push if it doesn't. Using the DoubleStuffs is the easiest way for me to get less chocolate. And I really like the CoolMint flavor! It tastes like a girl scout thin mint cookie on steroids.
I'll try the double stuffed so I won't get so much chocolate covering the cookies. Thanks Gemini!
I can't wait to get my Spinningleaf molds!!
I had them sent to my Auntie in Canada and she's going to post them to me.
I must remind her to get around to doing it! LOL!!

LMFAO and eating Chocolate covered double stuffed oreos.
ok after reading this I just ordered some...lol
Can't wait to get them!!!
You won't regret it! For anyone else ordering...at one time you could politely request a particular mold as your freebie. I did this. Something like: "I heard that you send a free mold with each purchase. If you are still doing this, would it be possible to request the plain top mold?" Or whatever mold you desire. Spinningleaf has a fantastic customer service!
I love Spinning Leaf. They gave me the heart mold as my freebie. I've done the peanut butter, mint, banana split, and strawberry double stuf oreos, and they are all deeeeeelish!
I use a cookie scoop to put chocolate in the mold, push an oreo into it and the chocolate rises up along the sides, then a teensy scoop to cover the top. So yummy!
I have about 6 of the spinning leaf oreo molds and as far as quality, they are fantastic! Much better than any mold I've ever bought. But yes, they are pricier.
I found that the choc. oreo's were too sweet as well, and I don't like the double stuff ones, so after making a ton of them, I switched to the regular ones and just didn't use all the choc. to fill to the top! Problem solved.
I love that spinning leaf sends a mold for free. They also sent me the big heart mold. Great for valentines day. But my feedback has also been "the sweetness". I used the reduced oreos. But I'm using wiltons chocolate wafers. So hopefully I can find the ghiradelli bar and not fill it so full.
Thanks all
I just got my spinning leaf order in the mail and I was so excited to see they added the one with little hearts all over it as my freebie. I was shocked a company would do that I did some over the holidays and used candy cane oreos I had found at Walmart, they were to die for! I'll have to try less chocolate too, I also had some say "too much chocolate" huh?
I also had some say "too much chocolate"
IS there such a thing?????
I had a friend who is a certified chocoholic tell me she could only eat 1/2 of one! I couldn't believe it!
Now my slogan for these is "This is how you limit yourself to eatting just one Oreo!"
Also, use the bite size molds for a smaller portion size.
There is a great website called onestopcandle.com that has the mold for $1.99. They have a great selection and are very speedy with delivery. This is the only place I order the molds from. There is also a great selection of boxes to display the oreos in that I use for parties. I highly recommend checking out this website. Oh, they also have a tutorial showing you how to go about doing the oreos that may have many different layers of colors...
I just checked out that site and bookmarked it - hopefully I'm remember to order from them next time!
I just got my spinning leaf molds today..got a smiley face mold for free
I bought the Wilton cookie molds at JoAnn Fabrics for $1.99 each but I don't like them. They need to be deeper. They're not even deep enough for the regular size Oreos - no way would they work on double stuffs. If you squish them down into the chocolate like the instructions say, you have to push so hard to get them in deep enough that they break through the chocolate in the bottom and ruin the design. Grrrr.....
I may try some from spinning leaf because if they're deep enough for double stuff Oreos, they'd definitely be deep enough for regular ones.

Where do you buy the bite size molds? They would be perfect. Although I just sat and watched as my dh gobbled down one regular size one.
The bitesized mold is from Spinningleaf. Look for the one with 12 openings instead of 6.
Check Sam's for the Ghiradelli bars! I got some last night marked down to $3.81. They are on clearance until next year.

And here I was all excited when I got them for $4.03! If it weren't for my husband encouraging me to stock up, I wouldn't have bought as many bars as I did. It's just too good of chocolate to pass up at that price!
I said the same thing to my hubby last night! Now I have enough to last me, but I will still keep checking. The cheaper the better.....
I had MANY opportunities to make these for friends recently. They're pretty cheap gifts that don't take a lot of time but everyone LOVES me for giving them some!!
I have orders but do not know what to charge. Should it be 2 or 3 times the cost to make per cookie, with an extra charge if the design is intricate???
Help
