I have problems every time. I look at my file size and it is within range, but processes forever and never uploads. So then I go and resize my photo, and it works. I don't know what gives.

I've had this problem for months and just yesterday I resized my pictures even more and they all loaded very easy. I guess something changed and now I know what to do in the future.

thats crazy. i havent uploaded many photos since the summertime, and used to do it all the time. i am rethinking if its worth all the effort of resizing just to upload them here. sigh....oh well. thanks for the tip.

It finally worked when I really reduced the size of my pics. Under 1mb. Even though it says 2mb is the size limit it wouldn't load until I tried reducing it that much.

I've been needing to resize all of mine too and up til just the past few weeks I'd never had any problems. I know there was a small thread on here a while back where Heath said that the pictures need to be a max of 1500X1500 and under 1.2 mb. I'll look it up and post a link. I've been resizing mine by decreasing by 75% at a time on shrinkimages.com and I've actually had to do that a couple of times to one picture. Can't Upload Pictures is the title of the thread. http://cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-609630.html

I have to do the same thing as Juds2323 says, crop off until the pic is 1mb

i'm not sure if you have a flickr account, but i was having the same problems until i started right-clicking and saving my medium sized flickr pics and using those to upload here.

its really easy once you've uploaded them to flickr you click on the picture you want, choose "all sizes" thats right above the picture, choose medium, right-click on the picture and save it under a name you will easily remember. then when you want to upload it here just browse and find it under the easily remember name icon_biggrin.gif.

I was having the same problem in the beginning of the month, which I found several forums here where others were having similar problems. I didn't change my camera or uploading process, but somewhere in 'computer land' my pics were not uploading. I was given this website to resize your pics (for free!). Once I resized my pics, I haven't had a problem since. Hope this helps!! HAPPY bakin' in 2009!!! icon_lol.gif
