I need to make a set of drumsticks and have some questions that I hope someone can help with. First of all, should I use just fondant or a fondant/gumpaste mix? Secondly, is there a way to dry them so they stay round and don't dry with a flat side?

Just an idea, but if you place them into a flower former of a paper towel roll that's cut in half, they might not get a flat side....
