Crusting Buttercream....first Time But What Amounts?

hey, im building up the courage to try crusting buttercream!! and ive got a recipe here off cakecentral which is the same as another one i found.
it uses
2 pounds of sugar
1/2 cup of butter
1 1/2 shortening (veg fat)1/3 cup of water
and 2 tbls of vanilla extract

this is all fine.......but what are these in english! i work in grams....
and ml for liquid.... i dont want to get it wrong on my first try...ive tried to convert on the internet and got:

907 grams of sugar
115g butter
340g shortening
78 ml of water


Just want to check with u guys before i go ahead and make it!! i cant really afford to waste stuff....so have to get it right first time!!! please help me!
