I'm wondering if it's a good advertising tool, anyone have experience with them?

Thanks!

I don't have a car wrap, but I have pretty big visable decals! And they have been AWESOME for me! They only cost $160.00 installed, and I've booked 3 orders from them in the 3 weeks i've driven around with them! icon_smile.gif

There's a lot of car wrap in my city. I don't particularly care for it because I have yet to see someone use it creatively. It's usually an obnoxious mess all over the car that makes me look away.

Having said that, I think if you could design your own wrap and come up with something that is creative and simple it would be very effective. Because good bad or ugly, you definitely notice car wrap.

And I think it would be great fun creating car wrap for erotic cakes!

What is a car wrap? I assume decals are the magnetic advertising signs, but have no idea what a wrap is?

Decals CAN be magnetic. Mine are not, they are like giant stickers you put on the vehicle. A car wrap is a sticker that covers the ENTIRE vehicle not just the windows, or door panel like decals.

Mine was designed to be a simple PINK bakery box with black ribbon.

and the name of my business and phone number.

I kinda like the idea of driving a bright pink car..lol

something like this...it doesn't have the ribbon yet, and he put a watermark on it, but it's ok to post to show you guys to get an opinion..

omgosh RB...my daughter in law has a neon painted that color!

let me tell you does she ever get the attention from it!

women just love it!...sometime when she's getting gas, people even come up to her and ask if she'd take thier pic while they stand next to it.....

people yell out ..."love your car!"

but sometimes my poor son has to drive it....ha ha...he says you gotta be secure in your manhood to drive a pink car.

i love it...i think you should do it....is it expensive?

I think you should do it, and could even go with a design that is a little catchier.

lol, I know what you mean about the pink car...my son wouldn't even answer my little pink phone! lol

Yes, I think it needed something else..the colors I use in the shop are lt. pink, black and fushia

so adding the bow on top..with maybe some curlies coming down...they can even do the windows..so it can look like a pouffy bow with some curlies just hanging down a bit..and my name and phone number on both sides!

I think it will be ONLY Bright Pink car in Miami..lol

I love the idea! You will definitely get attention with such a cute design!!

btw-I wanted to come see your shop this weekend since dh had a conference in Deerfield Beach today and we were going to spend the weekend down that way but icon_cry.gif the baby (bless his poor, little heart) got an ear infection, conjunctivitis in both eyes, a cough, and runny nose and fevers up to 103! So needless to say big momma got to stay home! icon_sad.gif
Maybe next time![/quote]

Can't wait to see the finished car! That is a good way to drum up business, especially if you have a delivery van!

Oooooo I saw the background in your cute pink car photo... is that th gulf? wish I was there!

You are so creative! I have been wanting a hot pink car with our name on it.

I really want to put some art on our pathfinder but since my husband drives it as much as me I can't do it. People would never order from us again... he is one of the worst road rage people I know.
If I get my own car I would do some art.

Do you have $quotes$ to share?

That is so cool.

My fave in this area is a pest company - they have VW bugs that are "dressed" to look like mice. I can't help but smile when I see them and I certainly will always remember the name of the company because of it!!

Well Risque, I haven't read the entire thread yet but wanted to give you my feedback. When I was a realtor my car was covered with my advertising and in a slightly smaller community here is what I learned........

When ya did something perceived to be wrong in traffic, following to close, signal to late, go through the yellow light, etc everyone knew who I was, where I worked and how to get a hold of me! icon_eek.gif

THAT i would remember!!

Good, maybe my son will learn not to speed anymore! I try to be a good driver! lol

Sin, can you picture how many of the moral majority would be calling to complain EVEN covering the naughty bits?

I have a sign like that and had it hung INSIDE my shop and had to remove it! UGH!

Good grief. One would think if you'd walked into the shop you'd know what to expect and wouldn't be offended!

Hilarious!

RB- I like the car wrap. The pink will make them notice and your biz name will make them wonder, which is exactly what you were going for. icon_smile.gif
