I add my name to photos using the "Paint" program on my computer. When in your photo gallery on your computer just click on the picture for it to come up full size. there should be an icon somewhere on your page (at least I know there is in windows XP and in Vista - I have both). Click on the paint button, and when your picture comes up, click to add text, type in whatever you want and save changes.

I do this to all of the photos I post online now because of an incedent several months back when many CC members had their cake photos stolen to use on someone else's site. I have no problems with someone using my cake photos, but please! People should have the decency to give credit to the actual decorator, I would never pass off someone else's work as my own.

HTH!

Thanks, I'm using Vista too but when I do it I'm getting a big white text box around my text instead of just the typing. What am I doing wrong?

Also, I was thinking.....do I need to delete all my photos and re mane them and then upload them again? I wouldn't want anyone stealing my photos. Im all for being part of their inspiration I just wouldn't want someone claiming my work was their own.

Okay, just now logging back in, sorry! When you go to paint, and click to use text...use your cursor to drag the textbox to the size you need it. (My paint toolbar is on the side of the screen, yours may be somewhere else, but) After you click to add the text there should be 2 new icons that will show up in your toolbar. One has a graphic with a little white box the other shows a graphic with a dotted line box on it. If you click on the dotted line box graphic, it should eliminate the white bar behind your text.

As far as deleting all of your photos, probably that will not be necessary. You should be able to go to your photos on CC and use the edit feature to simply replace the picture with a revised copy. (If you no longer have the photos stored on your computer, you may need to copy to your computer's gallery and then edit the photo before replacing it with the logo on it!)

HTH

picnik.com is a photo editing website, it is quick, easy and free! they have a fee for the upgraded package, but I have found that I needed them.
