i had the slowest week in 5 years last week....

only 4 orders on saturday....the previous 2 weeks weren't much better...it was starting to get a little scarey....

BUT THIS WEEK EVERYONE'S COME HOME TO MOMMA!!!

i'll say one thing, this business aint for sissys....i do ok, but this past year i didn't keep much of a "cushion" in savings ...i reinvested almost everything in my remodel.

who else here...this is thier sole income....?

you know this might actually be fun if i had a husband...with a job, and perhaps some health and dental insurance! ha!

Yeah... this is the income that we all depend on.

I wish my husband had an outside job, but then I would have to hire someone to replace him.

Some weeks are just hard. I need a cushion. We are doing king cakes now during the slower cake time. But I am getting slammed with wedding orders. I bet I'm upto over 30 right now. Got 3 more appointments for tomorrow. It's good and bad all at the same time. At least I am getting advanced notice of how hard I will work for my money.
