i have the best and easiest caramel popcorn recipe ever. i just had to share.

what you need:
1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda

what you do:
preheat oven to 200* F
over medium heat, combine first 4 ingredients and boil for 5 minutes remove from heat and stir in baking soda
stir well
pour over 8 quarts popped corn (i use plain microwave popcorn)
stir to coat
bake in large roaster or pan for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes
spread on waxed paper to dry

That sounds really good. If I hadn't made like 400 things for Christmas I would try it. icon_biggrin.gif I guess you could consider it candy. It has a sugary coating on it. Thanks for sharing!

Yum. Guess what I will be making tomorrow? I wanted to make carmel corn and have not yet got around to it. I will be home tomorrow evening by myself so it will be a perfect thing to make.

This sounds great! I made cinn. popcorn this year and it went over really well with my DH's customers. Next year I'll make this one!
