My client ordered a carrot cake with the typical cream cheese frosting, BUT i need to attach fondant decorations. This frosting does not crust well so i am desperately trying to look for a solution. My cake is for this Saturday so i need your wonderful tips or suggestions ASAP (please)

There's a good crusting cream cheese frosting recipe on this site that I've used. Crusts very well, even if you cut back the sugar a tad as the recipe suggests (it's VERY stiff with the full amount of sugar).
