Okay, so I'm making a Seahawks football helmet (10" cake) and I need some ideas on how to do the logo on both sides of the cake. I did do a miniture and painted it using Americolor and clear vanilla but it streaked and although it was "okay" I'd like something better. The design is very intricate (sp?). I thought about airbrushing it but I can't figure out how to cut a stencil to make it work. I don't have an edible printer and the grocery stores won't do it because it's a trade mark. Any suggestions?

Don't have a clue what a seahawk looks like, and this may not even work since a helmet is somewhat rounded...would a FBCT work? I've seen some nicely intricate designs done w/ these, but then again, all on flat surfaces...

I would suggest two things... one you can make a fbct or chocolate transfer and set it up in a slightly concave bowl so that it has the curve to fit on your helmet. OR I would say cut out the general shape from fondant, paint the details, and place on the helmet directly.
