I just had a customer call and request a cake for her son. She wants it to be decorated with the character Maynard the truck guy from the movie Cars.

Any suggestions as I have never seen the movie. But I have seen the actual car cake pan but never anything with Maynard. Dont even know if I am spelling it correctly.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Go to a store and look for the toys, they have some that are a little bigger than hot wheels cars. That should give you an idea of what you're looking at colorwise. Then find a color book and locate the character and make a FBCT or chocolate transfer.
If she wants more characters than just the one suggest having her buy the toys and make a theme cake to place them on. That's what I'm planning for my son, they have the toy to play with latter.

hi, ive seen the film and cant recall any Maynard (did a search too) are you sure she didnt say mater....as mater is a truck, take a look in my gallery youll find a mater cake in there.....
