I can't seem to stay away either. I have so much I need to do, but I've been taking a lot of breaks to get on CC.

I'll pay for it soon! icon_sad.gif

I have resorted to setting the timer so I am more aware of how many hours are lost..... I mean, spent icon_lol.gif here at CC. Seriously, if I hadn't shut down the comp and turned the monitor OFF I would have been on all day. As it was, I sat down 3 different times forgetting I had shut the darn thing down! Now THAT is addiction...

My question is where can I find the 12 steps for CC Anonymous?? icon_cool.gif

I too am guilty of keeping CC running in the background at work. I have yet to get caught by my boss, but I probably should be more careful and limit it to breaktime and lunch. :0)

I also have to be really careful. My internet at home is paid for 30 hours a month... That means an hour or less every day. I swear i have gone over, so maybe the internet company has pity on my addiction... or perhaps they are simply enablers. : )

Oh.......my.....God.......

If I was limited to an hour a day, I would die! I am really beginning to wonder what the heck I did all day before computers? How did I find out the news? TV listings? The capitol of Iran? How to make homemade salt dough? The best way to get rid of warts? icon_rolleyes.gif

I know, I know.......Newspaper, Library, TV guide......boy, am I a spoiled brat!

LOL! I had to laugh because this morning (ahem, at work!) a bunch of us were trying to get World Series Tickets (GO TIGERS!), online. All waiting to get in the que on line to get tickets. Someone said "has anyone tried calling the 800 number?" My responce : "What, you mean pick up an actual PHONE?"

I wonder if I was more productive pre-internet or more productive now? Hmmmm...

I am guilty of staying on CC a lot, too. We switched to DSL so I wouldn't tie up the phone line. I also listen to AFR Radio (Contemporary Christian Music) all day long while reading all of the forums or looking at the pictures on CC. I sure do love it!!!!

this made me laugh....my hubby is a bears fan (grew up in NE Iowa...it was like you root for the bears or the Vikings)....but is out of town on business...he called me this morning just to tell me that he felt sorry for the Cards...as he turned off the TV last night thinking they had it in the bag (not that he wasnt pleased with the outcome).

At least hubby has someone to root for this year....he volunteers for the KC Chiefs (and gets to watch the games on the sidelines....lucky dog) but they havent been that great to watch this year!
