I have someone interested in a purse cake. I am not sure what to charge her. I am makeing it out of a 9" round cut in half butted together ontop of a 9" square 2 layer cake. I am doing it in cream cheese icing and chocolate clay accents ( handle zipper etc) and her initials all over the outside ( for her designer monogram) I've seen a few of these on here, and was wondering what to ask for it. I live in Ft lauderdale, where everything is expensive! and The lady has bought cakes from me before. I usually give her a 2 layer round 9" cake with basic decorations for $30. I was thinking $50 but not sure... any input would be appreciated.

Ok, I am not a prof., but I would charge at least $75 dollars for the cake, at a minimum, but that is what I would pay for a cake like that, or more. But then again, I know all that goes into them. Good luck and post pics when you are done! Sound cool!

Your client is getting twice as much cake and that purse is not easy to put together and decorate, so looking at that maybe $75 is not even enough!
