I'm thinking of filling a cake with bavarian cream and fresh sliced bananas.
Will this work or will the bananas turn to a brown mushy mess?
The cake will be eaten probably 14 hours after I put it together, if that matters at all.

bananas turn brown because of exposure to air.........if it's in the bavarian cream I don't think it would necessarily turn brown right away.......maybe after you slice them you could spritz them with a little lemon juice before putting them in the cake!
