Just thought of a potential way to get testimonials on cakes I have sold or that people have tasted. Let me know if you see any problems with the plan! icon_smile.gif With each order delivery, include a pre-stamped postcard addressed to yourself. In the box, include a thank you for your order card asking them to let you know what they thought of the cake and the business transaction in general. Then all they have to do is jot down a few words and drop it in the mail. What do you think?

What do you do to get testimonials without banging down doors? icon_smile.gif
Thanks!

Being on the budget I'm on, haha, I'd worry about wasted stamps if the postcards accidentally got thrown away or if the person got busy and never filled it out. For those people who are willing to do so, though, I think the postcards are a good idea. In my case, though, I just ask people if they'll write a sentence or two about my cakes for my website (people love the idea of having something they wrote show up on the 'net) and they do.

Now if I could just get my DH to actually post them on the website, I'd be good to go! icon_biggrin.gif

I love this idea!! It is a great way to get statements for the website w/out feeling like you are begging for a compliment!
