How Do I Make Or Where Would I Go ?

A friend of mine wants to put her daughter's picture/s on top of cupcakes for her 1st birthday. She was going to print them on paper, cut out to shape and stick on top. I suggested edible images.
So the question is - since I don't have a printer for edible images, where would I go to get them? What type of "paper" is the best to use?
I read the articles and saw there are places to purchase perdone images (like cartoon characters) but that doesn't fit what I'm trying to accomplish.
Thanks In Advance!!
I just bought mine from carvel, they're the cheapest in my area, only $8. A bakery had the nerve to tell me they'd charge me $20 just to print one picture!
i do not know if the will do that picture but sams the store will do it some times and there might be a place online to up load it and they mail it to you
I would print it out on a piece of paper so the images are the size you will want them. Then take them to a grocery bakery, wal-mart, or sam's club. Wal-mart only charge $5-6 to make an edible image.

I'll have to do some more checking. I found one place on-line that charges $15 for 12 - 2.5" circles of the same picture and $7.50 for additional sheets of the same picture plus $5.00 for shipping which will take 5 days. That seemed spendy to me.
I called three grocery stores that said they can not print other photos other than for cakes they are making (Albertsons, Stater Bros. and Ralphs). Albertsons said I could buy the edible paper for $10/sheet, but I would have to print the picture myself.
We don't have a super Wal-Mart or super Target in our area. I'm not a member of SAMs, so I will have to call Costco and see if they will do it for me. I hadn't given them a thought - thanks!
If anyone else has any ideas, I'm all ears. I have until October to figure it out.
TIA
If there are any local owned supply shops in your area, I would check there first. I print them in my shop for customers for $5 for an 8"x10" sheet as long as they have scanner ready artwork. If I have to spend any time cropping, sizing etc., then it's $8 per sheet. Most people bring stuff in ready to go! You need to have the paper backed frosting sheets and edible ink cartridges on a dedicated printer to print them yourself.
