Hello everyone,
I was just wondering, is it possible to cut the MMF recipe in half? Has anyone tried it yet? I hate the idea of making a full recipe just to make a winnie the pooh, tigger and piglet. I tried mesuring marshmellows but that was not a go. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. The reason I don't want to make a full batch is cause if I don't use it within a few days the kids can use it as a hockey puck. lol.

yes! I have the recipe for the small batch and the large batch. Small batch was too small for the KA to even touch. Large batch would be too much for my needs, so I doubled the small batch, which is smaller than the large batch.

If you need it, here is the small bathch:

1c mini marshmallows
1Tbsp water
1 1/2-1 3/4c powdered sugar

I doubled it and the time of 20 seconds in Micro needed to be adjusted. Also I used the dough hook and let the machine do the work. I do think letting it rest makes a BIG difference.

I did this the other day, when I only needed a smallish amount of MMF. I simply halved the "regular" MMF recipe & it worked just fine.
