Does any body know where to get those little silver beads that are edible but super super hard???

They are outlawed in my state and I am not sure where to order them from.

I just love them in the quilting pattern of fondant.

Thanks in advance!!!

They are called dragees.

The Bakers Kitchen has them in different sizes: http://www.thebakerskitchen.com/CAKE_SHOPPE/Sugars/Dragees/dragees.htm

Fancy Flours has them too: http://www.fancyflours.com/site/xdpy/sf/Edible%20Dragees/Edible%20Dragees/index.html?id=xaXdwDyT:70.119.155.33

I don't know if the stores will mail to addresses in states where they are not allowed.

There are several websites that you can use to order the dragees (edible silver beads).... Here are a few I found for you.

Good luck! By the way, why are they outlawed in your state and where are you from?

They don't have them here in Massachusetts either. I remember them as a kid.

If you are in California, they will not ship to you there.

You can also make your own. I wanted some pearl colored ones for a wedding cake but didn't want people breaking their teeth. I made them out of fondant (roll out the fondant in a pasta machine, then cut out little circles with a circle tip (number 10 on up) and then roll out little balls. Throw them in dust and just roll them around and then put them on wax paper to dry out. (takes about a day)

The fully illustrated instructions are on here somewhere!
