I'm signed up for a Colette Peters class in October and I'm so excited. Has anyone out there ever done a class with her? I'd like to know what you thought about it.

there are some on this site who have and have loved her. Where is the class going to be? I'm in Oklahoma and I would love to go.

You never know... she travels all around the world teaching. Check out her website for her schedule.

Do you have to be an experienced decorator or can 'newbies' attend? I just wondered what the prerequisites were.

Anyone?

I have been fortunate enough to take many classes with Colette and I can say from experience, she is a WONDERFUL person. She loves to share her knowledge of cake decorating and will treat you as an old friend. She is very encouraging and will never say anything negative. For her beginning classes you really don't need much experience though it certainly helps. Every time I take another class with her, I learn something new and she always teaches new techniques.
For those of you out of the US, she does teach in other countries, just send her an e-mail because she doesn't always list those classes on her calender.
Have a great time,
Lori V.
