Kaye has it listed as Liv's birthday cake. My Mom has requested spice cake and I was wondering how this was. Also, does everyone use cream cheese for icing? Cream cheese filling or what other kind? TIA

I have never tried the recipe you mentioned - but I have made spice cake before. Cream cheese icing would be good. I used butter cream icing and for the filling I used cinnamon chips - melted into a ganache....it was yummy.
