Anyone make these? Know the ones I am talking about, they sell in the supermarket in a pack of 6 or 8 and are dessert shells. I don't eat them but hubby does.

this isn't a cup but a light cake that tastes great with strawberries and is low on fat. my kids love it. 2 c flour
1 1/2 c sugar
2 tsp baking soda
vanilla
1 c heated milk
3 egg whites beaten until stiff
pinch of salt
mix all dry ingredients add milk and vanilla, gently fold in the egg whites, pour into a greased 9x13 cake pan and bake at 350 for about 25- 30 minutes.

Here's an interesting history lesson on strawberry shortcake:

plus there are links off of it for recipes
