Hi y'all!

Say I have a recipe that yields 12 regular size cupcakes and I want it to yield 12 large cupcakes (meaning the big cupcake tins). I would also like for the cupcakes to bake over similar to a muffin top. How can I increase my recipe without having a bunch of extra batter left over? I know I could just bake off what's extra but I'm trying to get as exact as possible.

Thanks!! icon_biggrin.gif

Double the recipe, a large muffing tin is probably around double the size of a regular one, especially if you want the top to bake up big.
Good luck

Thanks! I guess that would make sense. I just don't want to waste any yummy batter!

If you have kids (like mine) the batter will Not go to waste icon_lol.gif

Seriously though, just measure the difference between the two pans and calculate the amount of extra batter you'd need (double or 1 1/2, etc.)
