Hi again ladies...i'm looking for that everpopular frosting (that so many bakeries use) that's so light and airy like whipped cream, lightly sweetened

....and could you give me the storage details...like does it have to stay in the fridge, how long can it sit on the counter...can i make it ahead of time...how well does it make decorations, etc...

In my area they are using PastryPride which you can buy at Smart & Final locally. They also used it for the opening cake at the Cakeshow in San Diego this year & sent out a request as to which icing they used and Valerie told me it was also PastryPride. It is delicious. She also suggested adding in a box of instant pudding when whipping it to give it flavor.
