If my paste turns solid not pastey like it was when I brought it is bad? I had some downstairs in my pantry closet on the top shelf and I guess maybe when it was cold this winter the heat got it? I dont know but it looks scarey and I starting throwing out bottles without even asking anyone. icon_sad.gif

I threw out mine also because they were too dry. Sometimes a few drops of glycerine may restore them if not very dry.One CC addict suggested microwaving for a few seconds.

I always have this problem with Wilton colors. I am gradually switching over to Americolors. I say - toss and replace! It's not like they're expensive icon_smile.gif

Mine were Wilton colors.Lesson learned, I'll stay with Americolors.

You can buy Americolors on CC individually or Cakes by Sam has them in a couple different sets. I will never go back to Wilton colors after trying Americolors. They are so much better and last longer.

In case you're still wondering - you don't have to throw them away, just mix in a few drops of glycerine until they're smooth again.

Although, I agree with everyone, I've switched pretty much exclusively to Americolor.
