Hi, my name is Joanne, and I think I've died and gone to cookie heaven!!!!!!!!! I just found this forum this morning, and I am so happy to find all of you! 
By day, I'm a fourth grade teacher, by night (and many weekends) I decorate cookies! lol I can't wait to read EVERY post that is here (and I WILL read every one!) I look forward to "meeting" and getting to know all of you!
Welcome to CC! Just be warned that it is VERY addictive! It is the best bunch of people to have around, though. You can ask any question and have it answered in a matter of minutes!

Thanks for such a WARM WELCOME! I can already tell that all of you are
great. I would LOVE to post some of my pics, but I don't know how! lol
I've been trying to figure it out, but sure could use some help. My own
daughters laugh at my NON computer skills! I did find the gallery, do I just
upload my photos to that? I did notice that some people have a photo button
on the bottom of their post, how do I do that too? Grateful for ANY help!

It took me awhile too. The photo button will appear when you upload your first picture.
That said go to the upload button at the top of screen when you are on the home page. Brouse for it and pick what "album" you want it in. Answer all of the other questions it asks of you. Pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

Great job!! It took me a couple of months to figure it out! Then all of my pics were too big, so I had to learn make them smaller! Now I take a couple of pics in the VGA mode, too!

I started making cookies 2 years ago, but have just recently begun my
home business and actually sold them for $$$$ lol Most of my orders are for fellow teachers (I'm a fourth grade teacher myself) and friends and family.
I've never tried cakes..but I'm OBSESSED with 'Ace of Cakes" and I"m dying
to try a fondant covered cake...just don't seem to have the time right now.
It's definately something I'm going to give a try this summer though. I've
been busy collecting "ideas" of fondant cakes and designs from the internet,
which is EXACTLY how I found this wonderful forum! I had no idea there were even cookies here...just found you guys by sheer accident...how LUCKY for me! Hope you and everyone has a great day!

On the left side of your page in the long pink box it says Private Messages. Keep an eye on that for pm's (private messages) when they come in. A little yellow symboll will blink. Just thought I'd mention that in case you weren't aware.
I'd love to see a close up of your flip flop cookies. When I was a kid we called them "go aheads". Did you use a cookie cutter for them AND are they covered with fondant or icing? I want to make some cookies with my granddaughter today.
