I just bought a bottle of McCormicks French Vanilla this week and I am looking forward to using it. I am wondering if anyone else has used this because I want to make sure I don't put too much or not put enough in my cake.

Thanks!

Yes! I've used the new French Vanilla Extract!

It is simply heavenly. I used it exactly as you would regular vanilla extract. I have put it is cakes, icing and even in homemade ice cream for my son's birthday party, everyone raved over the taste! It does have a "bold" vanilla taste, but that is what I like, it also has a sweetness to it )kind of like when using clear vanilla extract).

I use it all the time. I really like it. If I am doctoring up a mix, I always use the DH French Vanilla cake mix with the french vanilla instant pudding mix and the french vanilla extract. AWESOME!!! The new Betty Crocker Golden Vanilla mix is really good too.

Definitely use the extract!!!
