Sigh, sometime you gotta wonder why you bother.
Thought I would be the cool mom and make deco cookies for son's Baseball team snack that I was scheduled for. Did the no fail with Alices Cookie Icing, not thrilled with how they turned out but not horrified either. Sooooooooooo, I threw the portable softsided cooler with the drinks over my shoulder, picked up the cookies in my carrying case with lid and attempted to get out the garage screen door, my mistake was in using the carrier to push the door open, the latch popped on the end and everycookie went face down on the garage floor. My neighbor heard my scream/screech and came running asking if I was OK, she took one look at the floor and said "Obviously Not" Sooooooooooo, off to grocery store for a prepackaged snack, thats what I get for having the big head!!
Being only the 30 second rule and the floor was reletively clean, some did get testedby the house food critics!!
Bless your heart. I would have been in tears. They look like they turned out great though. Too bad you couldn't use them.
after I cleaned them off the garage floor I put them back in the carrier and put them on the deep freeze in the garage until i could get to them, was in a hurry to get to the ball game, once home, my 9 & (2) 4 yo boys found them and helpy selfy. They have eaten soooooooooooooo much worse. My gross out level is kinda non existant. (Been a nurse for way to long)
Hey but what is it a 10 second rule! as long as you pick them up quickly! haha Well???????? only if your neighbor hadnt have come over so quickly to witness. Geeeeeeeez I'd eat them. Whats a little car grease and dirt.
The cookies were probally cleaner than 1/2 the stuff most 4 year olds place in their mouths!
