I have tried one very similar. I just can't remember if it had 4 Tbls of flour or a little less, but everything else was the same. It tastes really good. Very creamy. The first time I made it, I think I let the flour and milk mixture get too thick, because I had a hard time getting it to dissolve completely into the butter/sugar mixture. There were really tiny pieces that didin't incorporate. It still tasted fabulous though. It doesn't take color well. I tried adding some to a cup of the icing and it didn't blend in. Someone suggested maybe adding the color to the milk before cooking, but I haven't tried it. Here is the link to a discussion of a similar recipe. I believe it had 3 TBLS of flour instead of 4.
