The MMF recipe says you can add 2 ounces of melted vanilla candy melts. What if you just substitute chocolate candy melts? Also, I've read that Satin Ice makes a delicious chocolate fondant, but I haven't tried it.

You can add 1 oz of melted chocolate (any kind) to the small recipe of MMF, or 2 oz to the large recipe, to get Chocolate MMF!

Satin ice is good. I have never made mmf but I am going too soon out of curiosity.
