Any chance that a space heater could be used instead of a heat lamp. I noticed on the hercules candy site they have a space heater of some sort. Anyone out there use one. If so, what kind. Thanks for any help.

Yeah they can be used. Type and model depends. You will have to get the sugar where the heat from the heater can blow on it, not to close though. Heat Lamps are inexpensive and a lot less hassle. But to answer your question yes they can be used.
