I put Satin Ice fondant cakes in the fridge all the time and I have had one in there all night that is made from Fond-X and it is fine this morning. I'm not sure about marshmallow fondant. I never refrigerated it before. icon_smile.gif

how do you like working with fond-x...it seems kind of soft to me...am I doing something wrong?

Well, I didn't have very good luck with it. Had to re-roll it a few times. It kept breaking when I put it on the cake and then I had small cracks that I don't usually get as much with Satin Ice. Maybe it was just me, though. It was more expensive too..think i'll stick with regular fondant.

I had the same outcome with the fond-x. I too thought it was kind of soft, compared to Wiltons, I was wondering if I could add some PS to kind of stiffen it up a bit. I love the taste and can find it in town, not sure if I can find Satin Ice here or not.

You can get Satin Ice online at Country Kitchen or Cakes by Sam. It comes in black, red, blue, yellow..bright colors! If you're like me, you absolutely hate coloring fondant black or red!
