U know how wilton pans are not 90 degree angles? Do they turn out ok, when icing the cake or do i need to trim it off or what? I have to buy a 10inch square and 8 inch square.. If my cake supply place doesn't have both in magic line, they also carry wilton preferred..

Do you mean the corners are not 90 degrees or the sides?

Well if the supply store carries both......def. go w/the magic line!!! The sides of the pan are pretty close to 90* and the cake corners come out perfect!! I LOVE my magic line pans!!! I only use the magic line pans for square cakes now!!

I am a Magic Pan girl!!!!! LOVE THEM!! I have the 8x12x2inch pan which I use for almost every cake I make. I have the 18x12x3inch pan for the 1/2 sheet size. Love the corners they are so sharp/angled that it's hard to get in the very corner bottom to clean them...I have to use my sink sprayer to get to them.

these pans are the "professional magic line" pans

You got me on that one icon_wink.gif ...I guess Magic Line is a "professional" baking pan line. I didn't realize that, when I bought mine, I was only looking for the professional ones. I never thought to check and see if they and any other types... sorry for any confusion.

Here's a link to the amazon.com site that has many pans for sale re: the magic line
