What kind of molding? I use sugarpaste
or fondant. You can buy these at a cake store
or make your own. Good recipes on this site

I am making my first figures out of MMF. It was super easy to make and to color. They look pretty good, but I am having problems with some of them crumbling after they dry. Also, how do you get the pices to stick together? I have put toothpicks to attach heads to bodies, but they aren't really attached. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks. That was helpful. I tried using some piping gel to attach eyelashes and such because I was using it to paint rice paper wings. That actually helped. Can you add gum tex to MMF to make it "support"?

I've used very little MMF... You could try sending PMs to Liis or mylan, they both do a great many of the fondant figures...
Let me 'bump' you...
