I was wondering if I could get some help. I want to make some cookies that are going to go into a cookie bouquet. I play on making them a weekend ahead of the time that they are needed because I am going out of town.

I am wondering the following:
- how do I store them? Individually wrapped? In the freezer? How long will they last?
- what cookies recipe do you recommend?

Thanks so much in advance for the help!

You can definitely make them ahead of time. You can make, bake, decorate, wrap and then freeze. You can pull them out the morning you want to use them and let them thaw in their package. Or you can just bake them and place in tupperware in the freezer and take them out the day you want to decorate. There is no need to individually wrap them if they are NOT pre decorated. HTH.

Thanks so much for your suggestions... I am really excited to start decorating cookies. I have made two cakes but I am not sure if that is my thing... I love this though. It definitely helps me get some downtime from the kiddos - and time just for myself in the evening (my hubby is going to be battling the cookies for my attentionicon_wink.gif)

Oh and another question - how long will the decorated cookies last and still taste nice when they are frozen?
