am planning to make a cake this weekend and am planning to do sleeping beauty but am not sure on how to this I have edible ink for printer to make images or I have a projector but with projector I cant get this face to look good, can anyone give any advice? also I seen cakes that say they use jello how does that work?
You could print out a coloring book page on a frosting sheet. You could even use a paint program to color in her face first and then fill in the rest with icing after you put it on the cake. Or just print her face taken from a pic on the web and ice around that. Or just do the entire thing as an edible image...maybe do a simple background in icing if you wanted to. Here were some nice pics I found that might make for a good edible image.

I always have problems with faces...they are always too small to make things work... I cringe to think of doing them....
cali4dawn suggested using melted choc for the face and waiting to put eyes, nose on until you are done with everything.. that way you can use a thin thin thin paint brush and paint the eyes and stuff with that...and her pictures look great...here is the link for you to read it shows dawns pic too

neijad- who is a member on this site does painted jello. PM her or look under the How do I? forum for a thread that has painted jello in the title, If I am not mistaken Lisa posted it orginally as a question to neijad.
