Help!
We are flying to Florida to surprise my MIL for her 70th birthday. my FIL called today and wanted to know if I would make her cake and "bring it with me" icon_surprised.gif
I've tried doing a search on shipping a cake and can't find anything that applies.
Does anyone have any great ideas? We're just going for one night so there won't be time to make it there.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

heychele, your cakes are so pretty! I don't think I'd chance shipping a cake. I've seen how UPS & USPS handle packages! I have successfuly flown with a cake, however, from NY to FL. Took it as my carry-on! Got a clear plastic craft organizer from Target that has two levels that snap together and a carrying handle for $10. Was bringing a two tier baby shower cake. I put one tier on each level with nonskid drawer liner underneath and assembled when i got there. Not one decoration fell off. The baggage screeners could see through it and it went thru the xray machine.

Beachcakes, thanks so much thats a great idea! It's just a about a two hour flight so I was trying to think of something to carry it on the plane in. Glad to hear that it is possible!
