Dark In Color Chocolate Icing Recipe

Ok so I've done the wilton chocolate and added extra chocolate and even brown food coloring and can't get the darkness to the icing and I'm not thrilled with the taste either. Anyone have a killer chocolate icing that you can decorate with also that your willing to share? Thanks , thanks, thanks for this one , it's driving me bonkers. icon_eek.gif

i've made the wilton choc buttercream only once, using dutch-processed cocoa and spiked with chocolate extract, and the customer loved it. i added Americolor Chocolate Brown to darken the color and it worked great. another choc buttercream that i've been wanting to try is Toba Garrett's recipe. it's gotten rave reviews here, but it's a little expensive to make. here's the recipe:
