Decorating Buttons...how To Make Them

I have a baby shower cake coming up for the weekend and wanted to add the buttons for borders.

Can someone tell me how to make them.

This is from the Wilton Yearbook, 2006.

For the buttons:

Roll 3/8 inch diameter balls of pastel fondant. Flatten and indent center with end of dowel rod. Imprint button holes with narrow end of tip 1. Let dry.

I just saw a cake in the new photo section for a baby shower and it had a button border.

The cake is in the March of Dimes contest. Lable is baby layette. It is adorable.
