I have the alphabet tappits cutters and well they NEVER tap out! I use flower paste, roll it thin and brush some confectioners fat on the flower paste and in the tappit and yet it always seems to stick! I end up having to pry them out with a paintbrush or a scalpel! Please help me!
have you tried dusting them with confectioners sugar or corn starch? that might work instead of greasing them?

I found lots of trouble using alphabet cutters, and found that the best way to do it is to have a very firm gumpaste, roll it out very very thin, then dust the top of the paste and the cutter thoroughly with cornflour. They tap right out every time.

yes, must be way thinner than you think... We had so much trouble at first. There was probably an instruction sheet with the set... the gumpaste should be soooo thin you can read the instructions through it. Mine work every time, along with a good dusting... they take practice
After I've rolled my gumpaste super thin, I let my gumpaste harden just a little bit before using the Tappits. That really works for me. HTH!
